Are you interested in studying, teaching or researching in another country for 9 months?  If so you should learn more about the Fulbright US Student Scholarships
Mr. Jeff Wing, Director of the National Scholarship Office will be holding an information session, tomorrow Thursday, April 21 at the Engineering School West Hall , Room 401 from 4-5pm. 
Students unable to make Thursday’s information session should attend an Fulbright Information Session being held at the Wilder School at 2pm on Friday, April 29  in Scherer Hall 401. Get Published, Get Paid! Glimpse Correspondents Program Now Accepting Applications!

The Glimpse Correspondence Program is now taking applications for Fall 2011!
This program is for talented writers and photographers with a passion for storytelling and a knack for finding truly unique stories. The program is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 36 who will be working, volunteering, or studying outside of their home country for at least 10 weeks. Correspondents receive the following benefits:
* $600 stipend
* Support from a team of professional editors
* Career training in writing and photography
* Guaranteed publication on Glimpse.org and The Matador Network

France Study Abroad Information Session

Join us! Monday April 11, noon to 1:00pm at the Franklin Street Gym Room 134 for the French Language and Culture information session. The program will take place in La Rochelle, France and begins June 26 to July 30, 2011.
Mrs. Margaret Ozierski, the program director, will explain the nature, purpose and itinerary of the tour and take any questions you may have.
Ms. Nasha Lewis, Program Manager of VCU Education Abroad, will discuss the registration process, fees, financial aid, and answer any questions you have about these and related topics, as well as study abroad, in general.

Info Session: Health and Human Services in Mexico!

Join us an information session on VCU’s summer program to Mexico!
Spanish for Health and Human Services in Mexico
This program is based in Guadalajara, Mexico, and will cover various cultural and systemic issues as they relate to health care in the U.S. and Mexico.
There will be two sessions held, one on each VCU campus:

VCU Education Abroad is now taking applications for the VCU Faculty Led summer program in Guadalajara, Mexico!
Spanish for Health and Human Services
The VCU Global Education Office and the School of World Studies are pleased to offer a unique opportunity for students to study the impact of culture, migration and health systems on the health and well-being of individuals and communities at the point of origin for many newly-arrived Latino immigrants in the U.S. using Guadalajara as a case example.
