Empowering Disabled Students to go abroad!

Attention returned study abroad students!

The National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange (NCDE) is offering $50 to students who are willing to share their experiences studying, interning, volunteering or working abroad with a disability. Click here to submit your story and read more information on this opportunity. NCDE wants students with disabilities to share their experiences to encourage other students with disabilities to go abroad.

There are many scholarships and grants for students with disabilities. The Gilman Scholarship is open to Pell grant recipients.  Students of diverse backgrounds, including students with disabilities, are given preference for the Gilman Scholarship. NCDE Offers $50 for Disability Stories on International Exchange Experiences

If you are a person with a disability and have either studied, worked or
volunteered on exchange between the US and another country, the National
Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange (NCDE)
would like to hear from you!
How to Participate:
. Write a personal essay
. Share your blog
. Answer our Featured Person questionnaire
If NCDE selects your submission for the NCDE website and/or other publications,
they will send a one-time $50 stipend to your U.S. address!
Submissions must come from people with disabilities residing in the United
States, which includes people from other countries currently having an
international exchange experience in the United States.
Submissions are due by Thursday, September 1, 2011.
