Genetics, Prevention, research

It is surprising that it was necessary for the National Institute of Aging to fund a study to suggest that genes might be important in longevity. Those of us who have cared for elderly patients are clearly aware that genes had much to do with longevity, despite reporters who repeatedly asked the aged what did you eat to help you live so long? This current study has identified genes associated with longevity. The question is; what does this do for public at large, or even for older individuals.
