Dr. Dana Ladd understands the information needs of patients with rare cancers

Community Health Education Center Librarian Dana L. Ladd earned her doctorate with groundbreaking research on the information needs of rare cancer patients. They have been overlooked in the health and library literatures, and rare cancers have been understudied, she says. “I knew that I needed to help fill this gap in the literature.”
