Eating healthy is the first step to preventing many health problems. The right foods can make a difference in how your body looks and feels. Especially now with genetically modified foods and pesticides, it is crucial that we watch what we are putting in our bodies. Eating the proper foods will prepare our bodies for these free radical damages that may occur.

The book “Healthy Eating for Life for Women” is a great resource for women to use to learn about what foods to eat and their effects on the body. The book starts off by explaining healthier alternatives for fats, protein, and carbohydrates. It then goes on to talk about different health conditions that affect primarily women, such as menopause and breast cancer, and which foods will help in preventing them and alleviating symptoms. Towards the end of the book, there are over 100 healthy recipes and alternatives to traditional foods that may be unhealthy. All these recipes are vegetarian or vegan.
