Turning Technologies Clickers (Fall 2012)

Following a university-wide review of classroom response technology (a.k.a. “clickers”) in the Spring of 2012, VCU made the decision to adopt Turning Technologies as the centrally supported clicker solution beginning in the Fall 2012 semester. This web page is intended to provide faculty with information and resources to assist with the adoption of this new clicker technology.
VCU will be using the Response Card NXT from Turning Technologies, and a new “all-in-one” USB stick that functions as the receiver, runs the polling software, and stores the polling data collected in classroom sessions. Faculty members can obtain instructor kits (response card & receiver) at the helpIT Center located in the James Branch Cabell Library, Room B-30.
To assist faculty with the transition to Turning Technologies, a series of training sessions have been scheduled for August 15, 16, & 17. To learn more about specific times and to register for these sessions please visit this site.
