NAPA AUTO PARTS / Executive Management Trainee Program

Executive Management Trainee Program (2-3 years of mgt experience).
Program participants will experience training in all areas of the Distribution Center (warehouse) operations including Accounting, Purchasing, Human Resources, Customer Service, Sales and Warehousing. The program is a competency based, on the job training program designed to introduce participants to all aspects and processes related to the distribution of NAPA Parts to both Company owned and independently owned NAPA
Auto Parts stores.
Normally the training will last 12 to 16 months and will be conducted at or near the hiring location. At the end of the 12 to 16 month program the intent is that the participant is promotable within the management ranks somewhere within the structure of Genuine Parts Company/NAPA.
Based on the needs of the Company and the abilities of the participant, first assignments could be varied both in responsibilities and geographic location. NAPA Auto Parts has 58 Distribution Centers and 700 + Company Owned Stores located throughout the United States. Potential assignments could be but are not limited to the following:
o Warehouse Manager (supervising material handling personnel in the daily distribution of NAPA Auto Parts to our Customers)
o Purchasing/Inventory Control Manager
o Quality Assurance Manager
o Customer Service Manager
o Internal Auditor
o Service/Operations Manager
o Human Resource Manager
o Territorial Sales Manager
o Sales Manager
o Area Manager
o Retail Store Manager
Personal Requirements
o Must be willing to relocate at the end of the training program
o 4 years Bachelor Degree preferably in Business or Finance
o Aggressive attitude
o Sales and Customer Service minded
o Willing to work a flexible schedule with hours which may include weekends and holidays
o Must possess a valid drivers license with an excellent driving record
o Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and routine background inquiry
