Crossover Clinic, a small nonprofit clinic with two locations in the Richmond area, serves the underprivileged citizens of Richmond. As the Fall season opens up, we’re looking for more scribes to join our practice. Crossover Clinic has two locations on Cowardin St. and another in West Henrico. We serve the people of Richmond who don’t have access to healthcare or whatever reason. Most of our nursing, physician, translator and scribe staff are all volunteers.
We’re currently looking for volunteers who can scribe or translate on a bimonthy basis. The scribes would be working on a one-to-one basis with doctors (which doesn’t make for bad opportunities for recommendations and getting to know a physician really well!). We operate Monday-Friday with limited Saturday shifts in the morning, afternoon and evening. Volunteers will need a car to get to and from their shifts. The deadline is September 15 at midnight. Questions? Please contact Leon Jia at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Honors College 2015 Study Abroad Fair is scheduled for Friday, September 18th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Honors College student lounge. If you have questions, please contact Ben Plache at email@example.com.

Also complete the required waiver information if you have not done so already. If you have any questions, please contact Ben Plache at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interested in learning more about the Preferred Applicant Track Program? Mrs. Connolly will hold an information for all interested students (freshmen and sophomores) who are interested in learning more about applying to a Guaranteed Admission Program at the end of the sophomore year. The meeting will be at 4pm in the Honors College, room 1303 on Friday, September 11th. Please come with your questions!
May grads must submit their honors dossiers by October 1. All seniors intending to graduate with University Honors are required to attend a dossier workshop before submitting their dossier. This workshop is designed to help ensure that graduating students understand what is expected in their dossier and to improve the likelihood that their dossiers will be accepted. The first dossier workshop will be held TODAY at noon. See the Honors College website calendar for the full schedule.
