National Scholarship Office: Fulbright Information Sessions

Only three Fulbright U.S. Student Program information sessions left in the semester! If you’re interested in applying for a research, arts or English Teaching Assistant grant (or just want to learn more) view the full list here: http://goo.gl/rvX0xn. If you can’t make any of those information sessions but are interested in learning more about national scholarship opportunities, fill out this form on the NSO website to meet with our office before you leave for summer break.

Research Week: National Scholarship Office Information Session

This week is the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program’s Research Week. The NSO will be hosting four information sessions on Thursday, April 21 in the Forum Room of the Student Commons. 

Check them out:

  • General information session, 11:00am (anyone interested in pursuing a nationally competitive scholarship should attend)
  • NSF Graduate Research Fellowship information session, 12:30pm (anyone planning to pursue a graduate degree in the social sciences or STEM fields should attend)
  • Fulbright information session, 2:00pm (anyone interested in researching, studying, or teaching English abroad after graduation should attend)
  • Goldwater information session, 3:30 pm (rising sophomores and juniors pursuing degrees in STEM disciplines who intend to have research-oriented careers in these fields should attend)

The National Forum for Black Public Administrators – Central Virginia Chapter (NFBPA-CVC) is pleased to announce the 2016 Manuel Deese Scholarship!   

NFBPA-CVC would like to award undergraduates with a college scholarship in support of their pursuit to obtain a career in public administration  or public service.The application packet must be submitted electronically no later than Friday, April 29.

National Scholarship Office – General Information Sessions

The National Scholarship Office is hosting an information session for all VCU students to learn about national scholarships and opportunities to study, learn a language, research, or teach English abroad – fully funded! All VCU students — graduate and undergraduate — are invited, but first and second year students are especially encouraged to attend. Wednesday, March 30 at 2:00pm (Honors College Multipurpose Room 1303).
