FULL-TIME Youth Programs Coordinator; ROSMY
ROSMY is seeking a full time Youth Programs Coordinator that is interest in
joining a growing organization and dynamic team. ROSMY is looking for an
innovative leader that desires the opportunity to continue building and
strengthening our youth support services. The premier organization
providing support, education, advocacy and opportunities for Virginia’s gay,
lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth, ROSMY serves to ensure
Virginia’s sexual minority youth and equal opportunity for success.
ROSMY seeks an individual who is a well organized and a highly motivated
self-starter to oversee, coordinate, implement and evaluate ROSMY’s
continuum of youth support services. This is a evening shift position from
1:00PM – 9:00PM, Monday – Friday with flex scheduling for some weekend and
statewide events and activities..
The qualified candidate will demonstrate skills in building community
relationships, partnering with other human service agencies, identifying and
addressing programming needs and managing the large number of volunteers to
execute the highest quality programming for gay, lesbian, bisexual,
transgender and questioning youth.
Benefits include 100% Health and Dental Insurance coverage, 3 weeks paid
vacation and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications include a BS/BA degree in Recreation or a social services
related field; A high school graduate with 2 – 3 years of full time
experience or combination of education and experience, group
leadership/facilitation skills, flexibility, strong interpersonal and
communication skills.
