Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR) seeking Administrative Coordinator ($15 per hour)

LMR is seeking a part-time Administrative Coordinator to provide day to day administrative support to the staff.  The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Preparing correspondence/mailings, answering and directing phone calls, attending meetings and taking minutes
Data entry, basic bookkeeping, processing donations and preparing and sending acknowledgments
Assisting in logistics/material preparation for events and programs, coordinating registration processes for events and programs
The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Office, database experience preferred, strong verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude and able to work well independently as well as a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment, punctual and
dependable, detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and anticipate next steps needed, high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.  Bookkeeping (AR/AP) experience a plus.

Barnes & Noble is in the process of hiring students to begin work in the next few weeks.  A paper application, available at the bookstore (on Broad Street), needs to be completed.  Also, copies of the application available at The University Career Center front desk (1st floor, Student Commons). We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Eligibility Advocate/Must Speak Spanish

Advanced Patient Advocacy (APA, LLC) provides eligibility screening and
enrollment services through partnerships with healthcare providers.  We
are seeking to make a socioeconomic difference for the uninsured and
underinsured population by providing them access to government and other
third-party medical assistance.  In an effort to help alleviate the
cost of healthcare, each person is screened for all state, local, and
federal indigent plans including Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare
as well as any other programs available in the respective state.

Job
Description: This position will provide assistance to patients within
hospitals as they screen patients for eligibility, complete
applications, and follow-up with social service agencies and other
third-party eligibility services. Applicant should be computer literate
as most of the company’s systems are web-based and heavy documentation
via the computer is mandatory.  

Must speak Spanish.

This is a paid, part-time (24 to 36 hours per week) position.
Ideal candidates will be energetic, punctual, self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere, and have a genuine desire to work for the welfare of animals. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and pleasant living environment for the dogs and cats in the state-of-the-art Robins-Starr Humane Center, monitoring animal health and behavior, and providing extra TLC! No experience necessary.
Requirements:
 - Applicants must be available one weekend day per week and have daytime (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) weekday availability as well.
 - 18 years of age or older
 - Valid driver’s license
 - High school diploma (or equivalent)

Minimum of two years experience as receptionist.  Experience in an independent school is desirable. 
Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint.  Must be organized, posses the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.  Requires initiative, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Hours are 7:45am – 4:15 pm Monday through Friday.
