Sales Manager overview:

º Directly responsible for the management of 8 – 45 sales associates
º Conducts job performance reviews
º Handles personal issues
º Supervises customer service and sales associate training
º Works directly with the merchandise and buyers to develop the positioning
  of new and existing merchandise on the selling floor
º Attends vendor seminars to gain information helpful to the sales staff in
  the presentation of new merchandise to the customer
º Works closely with the visual staff
º Responsible for inventory control of their area
º Reports directly to the Store Manager
