Four VCU School of Nursing students have been selected to participate in the “Nursing in Spain” program, also known as the Cordoba Program. Kaitlin Boyden, Erin Dymon, Staci Fraley and Amy Heng will travel to Cordoba, Spain to participate in a three-week observational experience. They will learn about Spain’s community-based health care system, the role of the nurse in that system and nursing education in Spain. The program will run from June 5-25. VCU School of Nursing and the nursing department at the Universidad de Cordoba have operated a reciprocal student exchange program since 2011. Four nursing students from the Universidad de Cordoba will come to VCU this summer to learn about nursing and health care in the United States. For more information, please contact Allison Gregory.
