There will be no transit service on Thursday, July 4.

The following schedules will be in effect:

Sunday, May 12 through Sunday, August 11:

VCU Campus Connector: Service will begin at 7:00 a.m. and end at 7:00 p.m. (No weekend service)
VCU Medical Center Route – I Lot: Service will begin at 5:30 a.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)
VCU Sanger Express – A lot: Service will begin at 5:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Monday, August 12:

All routes resume normal schedules

A temporary fleet of white, VCU branded buses will operate all routes (Campus Connector, Medical Center Route, Sanger Express-A Lot) uninterrupted. A new custom manufactured fleet equipped with GPS capabilities and more amenities will start on Thursday, November 1. VCU will continue to partner with GRTC for the Student Transit Pass program.

Transit stops are located throughout both campuses and each stop is serviced every 10-15 minutes. Cary St., is now available for daily parking for the VCU community, including VCU visitors. This lot is intended for daily cash parking. The daily parking fee is $5 for guests and visitors and $3.50 for those with a valid VCU Card. Up to two hours of free parking is available while Chili’s patrons dine, providing they spend at least $10.

The new fare will be $3.00. This increase will not affect students with a Student Transit Pass, however, it will affect others who use these GRTC routes.
