Richmond Young Onset Parkinson’s Support Group forming

The VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center is excited to announce the formation of a Young Onset Parkinson’s Support Group in Richmond.

This group was established to help those individuals who are trying to manage challenges younger people with PD face, such as employment concerns, parenting, caring for aging parents, maintaining relationships and managing financial and legal issues.

The first meeting will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 PM at Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Mechanicsville, VA.  It is open to individuals, spouses and/or family members affected by younger onset PD.

During this first meeting, we will discuss the group’s structure and future meeting times.  Light refreshments will be served.
