April 11 – Northern Neck/Middle Peninsula Parkinson’s Awareness Day

April 12 – Social Security Income / Supplemental Security Disability Income Seminar
Join VCU for a workshop reviewing the process and requirements to apply for SSI/SSDI benefits, and what to do if you are denied. Learn more.
April 14 – Parkinson’s Disease Walk-a-Thon at Virginia Beach
Walk along the Virginia Beach boardwalk and raise funds for Parkinson’s research. Walk is presented by the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association. Learn more.
April 19 – Shakin’ Not Stirred
Paying homage to the debonair James Bond, Richmond’s favorite bartenders will create their own versions of Agent 007’s classic beverage. Guests and celebrity judges will taste and decide who shakes and stirs the best! All proceeds will benefit the VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center. Learn more.
