VCU Rec Sports is helping The Well at VCU encourage students to reduce stress and be mindful during finals. The Well’s campaign, #MindfulFinals, serves as a way for students to manage their finals with less stress.screen-shot-2016-12-05-at-9-33-05-amWhat is mindfulness?

Focusing on yourself. Take time to step back from all your thoughts and stressors. Mindfulness is one of the most important elements for reducing stress.

Relax. Win a Prize!

  • Take a picture of you practicing your own mindfulness during finals. Whether you are taking a yoga class at Cary Street Gym or enjoying a walk around campus, share your experience!
  • Upload your picture to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #mindfulfinals. If you are not on social media, email your picture to socialmedia@vcu.edu.
  • Come by the Student Government Association’s Extra Exam Study Space in the University Student Commons, show your picture, and receive your prize! Stop by December 12, 13, or 14 between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
