The VCU Webmaster has increased our blog upload limit to 500 MB (from 10MB previously) and also increased our individual upload limit to 10MB (previously 3MB). Thus, I have now been able to post the relevant readings from Preparing Teachers for Change so please take a look.
Before we meet next, please be sure to do the following:
1. Login to VCU Blogs at wp.vcu.edu to register with VCU Blogs and gain access to your own site.
2. Step 1 will create your blog. Once you’ve done this, notify LaRon so he can add you to the group blog (http://wp.vcu.edu/scottla2/) as an administrator so you can edit and add content here as well as to your personal page.
3. Create your first post that outlines your goals (both common goals for the department and unique program goals) for the e-portfolio project.
4. Feel free to add additional posts or pages with literature related to this project that you would like to share with the group.
4. Visit the blogs of your group mates. Links to everyone’s blogs can be found under the tab “Our Blogs” on the group blog site. Comment on any posts they’ve made.
Hi everyone,
I have been able to upload Chapters 2 and 10 to the Preparing Teachers for a Changing World page under the parent page Interesting Readings, so please check them out! I am waiting to hear back from the Webmaster about increasing the available space for uploading documents from the 10MB that are currently available, for not only our purposes but also with e-portfolios in mind. Will let you all know when I find out anything.
