Tasks for Week 5

Here are some of the tasks you need to complete during our fifth week.

Complete the assigned readings throughout the week. You will learn about the impact of social media on global protest movements like the Arab Spring and the Occupy Movement as well as international elections such as in France, the UK and Egypt. We will also have the first presentations by some of your classmates on these topics.

We will continue to discuss your social media campaigns on Tuesday and Thursday. By the end of Thursday, your group needs to e-mail your concept outlining your campaign to Dr. Messner. More details on the concept will be provided in class.

And of course, keep on tweeting about the presidential election.
