Tasks for Week 6

Here are some of the tasks you need to complete during Week 6.

Complete the assigned readings throughout the week. We will have several student presentations this week on the social media tools used by the presidential campaigns and the senatorial campaigns in Virginia. It is essential that you pay even closer attention every day to both races from now on.

These social media tool presentations will also help to finalize the plan for your own campaigns. The concepts should be refined and finalized this week. We will discuss your social media campaigns on Tuesday and give you feedback on your concept drafts.

This week, you should also start to increase your own Twitter following by moving beyond posting links and engaging actively in conversations about the election with other Twitter users. We’ll provide more guidance about it in class.
