The Northern Virginia M.S.W. Program, located in Alexandria, offers graduate study to almost 200 students. The faculty includes six full-time instructors plus the M.S.W. associate director/NoVA coordinator, the field coordinator and the coordinator of recruitment and retention. A rich cadre of social work practitioners provides adjunct instruction. The greater D.C. metropolitan area offers field instruction opportunities at local, state and national organizations in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.
As we approach the start of our Fall semester, please remember to check your VCU email to find important information about registration, events, field instruction, employment and many student activities that are posted on both the required list servs (Richmond or NoVA/off-campus) and the optional list serv (student services).
