Charlie Howe ’07 Leads U.S.G.A. Preparation for 2018 U.S. Open
The best golfers from around the world have arrived at Shinnecock Hills
in Southhampton, New York for this week’s U.S. Open, which begins Thursday. Charlie Howe CSL ’07 has been on site for 18 months making sure everything inside and outside the ropes goes smoothly.
Howe is the Championship Director of the 2018 U.S. Open. His list of duties and responsibilities range from transportation to hospitality to merchandise tents. He recently spoke with CSL Director of Communication Greg Burton’s daily radio show to discuss the preparation that goes into hosting a world class sporting event.
