Network Services is reporting that laser-based network connections are being disrupted due to inclement weather. VCUTS Help Desk Ticketing System (Remedy) Off-line »

The patch applied earlier did not work and unfortunately has opened up a potential security risk.  As a result Remedy has been taken off-line until the issue can be resolved.  It is unknown at this time how long this will last but updates will be posted when they are available. E-mail Size Limit »

VCU has implemented Google Apps for Education, including Gmail email service for VCU students. Gmail currently limits maximum email size to 25 megabytes. Help Desk Ticketing System (Remedy) Maintenance »

The Remedy Admins have determined an issue from last weeks maintenance that has to be patched immediately.  This will only take a few minutes to patch but the Remedy System will have to be rebooted for the patch to take effect.  Unfortunately, we have to do this immediately so we will be applying the patch and rebooting the Remedy system at 12 . . .

UPDATE 2: VCU Monroe Park Campus Telephone Service Disruption (2/3/10) »

UPDATE 2: Verizon continues to work on the cable issue. Around 10:00 p.m. Verizon implemented a procedure to reroute incoming Monroe Park campus calls to alternate circuits in the Siegel Center.  Verizon anticipates the cable issue will be corrected by the opening of business on Thursday, February 4th.  If this is not the case, with the rerout . . .
