[Update2] Water Break Causes VCU Computer Center Partial Shutdown (5/17/11)

[Update2: 3:45 PM, 5/17/11]  The State Department of General Services has made a temporary repair on the water supply to the cooling system at the VCU Computer Center.  The situation has been stabilized and air conditioning to the computer room has been restored.  University systems have been restarted or restored from their failover servers in Harris Hall.  A few remaining problems are being addressed by VCU Technology Services staff.

A break
in the water supply to the cooling system at the University Computer Center has
caused loss of air conditioning and the shut down of some computer
systems.  The situation has stabilized,
and the systems are being restarted.
