VCU PhishingNet Site Lists Known Email Scams

VCU Technology Services has established a new site called VCU PhishingNet to provide the VCU community with a list of email scams that have been identified as targeting VCU email accounts. This site is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all known email scams but phishing attempts that have been identified by VCU Technology Services staff as targeting our community.

If you receive an email that you believe might be a scam and it is not on the list maintained on the VCU PhishingNet ( list, please contact the VCU IT Support Center (828-2227, to report the message so we can determine if it is a phishing attempt.

Don’t Get Phished

Don’t be a phishing victim - VCU and other reputable organizations will never use email to request that you reply with your password, social security number or confidential personal information.
