Technology Services will be offering several types of Google Mail/Calendar/Contacts training throughout the summer. Training will come in the form of a webinar, seminar and hands-on workshop. We have encouraged departments and schools to offer basic Google Mail/Calendar/Contacts training to faculty and staff before and during transition process. This Google Mail/Calendar/Contacts seminar will cover the basics. The session will cover how to login to appsforVCU, adjust settings, compose email, apply and organize labels (folders), setup vacation response, search email, create filters (rules) for emails, create a calendar, add events and share a calendar, and manage contacts.
