by Christal Holmes, Campus Visit and Communications Manager
During the 2012-2013 academic year the VCU School of Business will be celebrating its 75th anniversary. Since its founding in 1937, the school has prepared students to become business leaders by incorporating new technology and innovation into the curriculum.
With six academic departments and over 26,000 alumni, the school ranks as one of the 100 undergraduate business programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. It is also accredited by AACSB International (both the School of Business and the accounting programs) and was the first business school in the nation to gain accreditation for the undergraduate information systems program by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc.
To celebrate its 75th anniversary milestone, the School of Business will be hosting several events in the upcoming weeks and months for current students, alumni, and the public. For more information on about upcoming anniversary events, visit the 75th Anniversary website.
