The Common Application goes Live on August 1, 2017, for Spring 2018 and Fall 2018.
New first-time freshmen applying to VCU must complete the Common Application. Students who apply using the Common Application can log in to their VCU VIP page to check their application status online to be sure we have received all required materials (admission decisions are not provided online).
The application fee for applying online is $65 and may be paid by credit card. The application fee is nonrefundable.
Please be aware that students interested in undergraduate programs on the Monroe Park Campus should submit only one application for a specific semester (for example, a student should submit only one application for fall 2018) and may apply to only one undergraduate degree program. If you need to make a change to your application once it has been submitted, please email your requested changes to your application processor in the Office of Admissions. You may determine who your processor is by visiting the processor contact information. Do not submit an additional application. If you submit more than one application for a semester, only one application will be processed.
Applicants should review the admission requirements. Some programs, including those in the School of the Arts require additional materials to be submitted in order for an application to be considered complete.
