VCU Student to Study on Fulbright in the U.K.!

Congratulations to VCU student Sara Mason, who will be participating in this summer’s US-UK Fulbright Summer Institute!
The US-UK Fulbright Commission offers three Special Summer Programs for US citizens to come to the UK. These summer programs provide the opportunity for US undergraduates (aged over 18), who have completed no more than two years of university study, to come to the UK on a four, five or six week academic and cultural summer program.
Participants in these programs will get the opportunity to experience an exciting academic program at a highly regarded UK University, explore the culture, heritage and history of the UK and develop their academic ability by improving presentation, research and communication skills.

ISEP is a non-profit network of over 275 universities worldwide. ISEP offers two types of programs:
1. ISEP exchange: Placement depends upon space available at the host university. The priority application deadline is Aug. 15 for spring programs and Jan. 15 for the fall. Students pay the ISEP program fee that is based on VCU tuition, fees, room and board.
2. ISEP direct: Placement is not dependent upon space available; therefore, most universities accept applications until mid-November and April. Students pay based on the host university’s charges.
